Some Long Day

Came home from clinicals after a long ride on the Metro 780. Plopped down into the carpet, tired and exhausted from an 8 hour shift at the Cardiac Catheterization Lab… it was like a weird mix of excessively boring yet interesting few hours in this tiny room. Good thing my groupmate Carmen was there, we became nostalgic about our first semester in nursing school way back when. It has been a long journey, she now has a blue eyed baby boy — everyone is ready to graduate and move on to the next part of their lives.
Maybe, after… it is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
